Cool stuff:

Credits and links!

Hello! This part of the website will be separated into 4 sections:

Inspirations

The woobly element of this site was inspired by the indie game Baba Is You!

gif by the reloading review of Baba is you

Normally you'd do this by animating atleast 3 frames out of everything... But i had a little help from a tool...

To talk about this tool, i first need to introduce everyone to Pico-8, which was another big inspiration.
Pico-8 is a fantasy console that you can create games for. Most known by the original Celeste.
The entire color palette from this site has been taken from pico-8, and the tool i used to create the assets is also from pico-8.

Tools / Materials

Programs (mostly sites)

Wobble Paint

Wobble paint is a tool made in pico-8 to create wobbly graphics! I used it to create most of the assets for this site.

Paint.net

Paint.net is kind of a cooler paint you can download, i used it on the title and clouds above

Ezgif

Ezgif is a online gif editor that saved me ALOT of times. For a gif editor, it has so many functions i'd argue it's better than downloading a serious editing software

Extras

There are other sites like wobble paint out there, like Wiggly paint and Shake art deluxe

While making this page, i found a website called 3d gif maker! It helped me on some things, so i recommend

Fonts

COOL FONT

made by me!

It doesn't have a proper name so i use the name "Cool font" on the files. You can download freely, but... It only has capslock...
I made it using this font maker site. It's used on some places i like to highlight

Press start 2P

CodeMan38

Used to differenciate topics on the text

Roboto Mono

Christian Robertson

Main font used on text!

Silkscreen

Jason Kottke

Mainly only used on the buttons!

I used Google fonts to find them, and this site to download and import them.

Coding

This website was created using Vscode with the live preview extension.

Parallax

The parallax was made with the help of 2 codes as reference, one made by Alistair Shepart and the other by Christian Alder.
This amazing blog post helped me optimize it.

Clouds

The clouds were created with help from this jsfiddle i found in a thread (i could not find the thread itself. The movement was made with help from this video and the codepen demo of it, this video would also help me in my marquee effect from the about page.

Marquee

The marquee effect was inspired by Weather's Warehouse about page and pratically copied by this video by Jeroen.
The js was made without references, you can copy it!
